Board Notes

Some news and notes of the Village Board:

-Monday's meeting will commence at 6 PM, at which time the Trustees will likely vote to go into an executive session to discuss pending litigation
-There is a public hearing Monday at 7 PM. The Board is to hear from the public on the proposed local law to raise the income thresholds for aged and disabled exmeptions. The change will raise the floor from $24K to $28K and also create a sliding scale of 5% increments up to $35,400.
-The Board will hear plans for the 2008 Soapbox Derby from Kiwainis member Dave Jewell.
